Terms of Use
Last updated 12 October 2026
These are the ground rules for using YM Exchange. They keep trading fair, fast and safe for everyone. By creating an account, you agree to them.
- You see your rate before you confirm a trade.
- Your information stays private, and we never sell it.
- You can always reach us, on WhatsApp or in your dashboard.
1. Using YM Exchange
- You must be 18 or older.
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Confirm your email before you trade or withdraw.
- One account per person. Keep your password private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has it.
2. What we do
YM Exchange lets you sell crypto and gift cards and get paid in Naira, with clear rates and support when you need it. We are a trading service, not a bank or an investment adviser, so nothing here is financial advice.
3. Rates
Your rate is shown before you confirm. Rates move with the market, and the rate that applies is the one at the time your trade is confirmed.
4. Selling crypto
- Send the right coin, on the right network, to the address shown in your dashboard.
- Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, so please double-check before you send.
- A deposit counts once it has the network confirmations shown to you.
5. Selling gift cards
- Only sell valid, unused cards that you own and are allowed to sell.
- We check every card to keep trading safe for everyone.
- Cards that are used, invalid or obtained by fraud are not paid. We may close the account and report the matter to the authorities.
6. Payouts
Payouts are made in Naira to the bank accounts you have added to your account. For your protection, we may run quick safety checks on some payouts. If a payout cannot be completed, your money stays safe in your balance.
7. Fair play
Do not use YM Exchange for fraud, money laundering, or to trade on behalf of someone else. Do not give false information, try to cheat the games, coins, referrals or leaderboard, or disrupt the service. We act quickly on abuse to protect honest customers.
8. Games, coins and referrals
YM Games are for fun. YM Coins are small thank-you rewards for playing. They are not money and they are separate from your balance. Your balance is yours: what you earn from trades and referrals can be withdrawn any time, and nothing in this section changes that.
- Coins: you earn them by playing, within the daily and yearly limits shown in your dashboard. They are redeemed for airtime or data, never paid out as cash, and cannot be bought, sold or transferred. Your trading unlocks them for redeeming, and unused coins expire after 12 months.
- Refer and earn: when a friend joins with your code and completes the trades shown in your dashboard, the referral reward is added to your balance. Rewards are for genuine invites, so we may take a quick look before adding one, for example if two accounts share a phone number, a device or a bank account name.
- Keeping it fair: we may adjust, pause or remove game rewards (coins, and referral rewards still being looked at) if something looks unfair or these rules are not followed. We may also change the rewards or end a promotion, and the dashboard always shows what applies now. The Naira you have already earned from your own trades is not affected.
9. Support chat
We save your messages so we can help you properly. Never share your password or one-time codes in chat. We will never ask for them.
10. Protecting your account
We may pause or close an account, or decline a trade, to protect you, other customers or to follow the law. Where we can, we will tell you why.
11. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep YM Exchange running smoothly. Market prices, networks and banks can sometimes cause delays outside our control. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from price changes, wrong addresses, or events beyond our control. Your legal rights under Nigerian law stay in place.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using YM Exchange after a change, you accept the update.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
